It’s Saturday night and I’m sitting by the fire with my laptop celebrating watercolour! So much to learn, so much to do, the days aren’t long enough, and any attempt at painting something small is so rewarding, whether succesful or not. The fact is, it is always successful, as every attempt is a step closer to where I’d like to be!
I painted this little wren last night on a scrap piece of Saunders Waterford paper, and I was quite happy with him. My husband, who is my number one fan, said he’s cute, but…, and I said, but what?… I like him.
It is cute. Your style is just lovely✨

What a charming wren! He looks busy, perhaps mid-sentence! Bravo!
