Lately I haven’t been getting out enough in the early mornings, and bless my darling husband, he has been very encouraging! The effort of getting out of bed is nothing compared to what I could have missed! This is our steamy beach this morning, obviously the water much warmer than the chilly air! Also a great opportunity to try out my little Panasonic FZ200 (lightweight, ultra zoom, ideal for walks with husband, without tripod)
a spectacular morning! Wonderful beach!!

Hi Cybele, yes! cold, steamy and spectacular, and this morning much warmer, no mist – just totally different. Isn’t that just the beauty of it – different all the time! 🙂

Wow… Really nice! Haven’t seen something like this. The water over here is mostly the same temperature as the air.

Really enjoying your images at the moment, such a beautiful area. And I agree, hard to get out and about early at the moment, -4 degrees here this morning!

Hi Doug, Thank you so much for your comments, which are greatly appreciated! It wasn’t -4 here, about +8, so I have nothing to complain about, do I?
Do you mind me asking, where is home at the moment? Are you continually travelling our beautiful country or based somewhere. I tried to find the information in your blog, but could have missed it 🙂

I am based in Barraba, a small country town 100 km north of Tamworth. I spent a few years travelling around eastern Australia between 2010-2013, Most of the images have been from those trips, some are from around my area.. Still do a short trip every now and then, but mainly just around my area at the moment.
Cheers.

My husband Laurie knows Barraba well, and says he’ll have to take me out there some day. He had a dear friend there: Les Brookes, who has since passed away.

Sorry for the late reply. Always amazes me how small a world we live in. I did not know Mr Brookes but hope to see you up this way one day, or vise versa!

Hi Danielle, thank you so much for your comment. I really appreciate it! For my adorable husband it was like taking the dog for a walk, having a little sniff very so many steps. (Bless his little socks :-))
