Sheffield – Town of Murals

Morning tea time was fast approaching, and Sheffield was just the place to have it. Sheffield is at the centre of the Kentish district and its history goes back to the early 1800s.

They say that pictures speak a thousand words, and they certainly do in Sheffield. There are about 60 murals on buildings within the town telling the story of its history.
Sheffield is also known as the Town of Murals and you can apparently view the artists at work in their studios, unfortunately we missed out.

We had a very nice morning tea though in a local cafe.
